Students of 10 schools under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan take part in Champions of Inclusion

GUWAHATI: An event entitled ‘Champions of Inclusion’ was organized on the premises of the office of the Deputy Inspector of Schools in Chatribari on Friday. It was a sensitization workshop organised by Sishu Sarathi. Students from 10 schools under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan took part in the event, wherein they were educated about several key problems faced today through an exhibition as well as music, dance, and simple activities. Some of the topics covered in this event included pollution and climate change. The organizers mentioned that they are advocating the inclusion of differently-abled children in regular schools, along with those under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, to ensure all-round development and promote an inclusive environment.
