Thief arrested; Rs 40,000 recovered in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A team of the East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) from the Dispur Police Station on Friday arrested one Chandan Sahu of Fancy Bazaar and recovered an amount of Rs 40,000, which was stolen on Thursday morning.

According to police sources, a case (No 744/22) has been registered and follow-up action is on.
