Three new containment zones declared in Guwahati City

GUWAHATI: In the view of detection of COVID-19 patients from Bishnupur, Krishna Nagar in Guwahati has been delcared as a containment zone and the area is to be sealed effective immediately on Tuesday.

The boundary of the containment zone is- Arjya College to the north; Jute Mill to the south; Government ITI to the east; and Bishnupur Road to the west.

Meanwhile, Pub Sarania and Dhirenpara have also been declared as containment zones. The boundary of the containment zone in Pub Sarania is – Bhabananda Deka Road to the north; South Sarania Road to the East; Pramathesh Baruah Road to the east; and residence of Cittaranjan Dutta and others to the west.

Similarly, the extremities of the containment zone in Pub Sarania is – residence of Nabajit Barman and Bihuram Boro to the north; residence of Kamakhya Prasad Gupta and others to the south; residence of M. Adul Ali to the east; and AK Dev Road to the west.
