GUWAHATI: The Chandmari Police picked up three more transgender people on Saturday regarding the alleged involvement in the death of the suspected transgender person, Amdadul Islam. According to sources, three of them were picked from the Ulubari area. The police had been able to trace the detainees, even though they had been changing their locations and eventually getting apprehended by the police.

According to sources, earlier, the Chandmari Police recovered a two-wheeler bearing registration AS01 DJ 0139 used in the murder of Islam. The police recovered the two-wheeler near All India Radio Tower at the hilltop of the Bhangagarh area. After the interrogation, the three transgender people were allowed to leave.
