Two books titled Ganatantra Bonam Swayrotantra & Nagorikpanji released

GUWAHATI: Two books titled — Ganatantra Bonam Swayrotantra and Nagorikpanji, CAB aru CAA written by Arup Borbora were released by senior advocate Anil Kumar Bhattacharjee, senior journalist Prasanta Rajguru, among others at the Guwahati Press Club on Sunday.

"The books speak about the present socio-political scenario. Thus, both the books are must read for all social activists, members of various organizations and people in general who have been raising their voices in support of the existential questions of the people of Assam vis-à-vis about the alarming plight of democracy of the country," said Borbora.

He added that Ganatantra Bonam Swayrotantra highlights the 'torture' that have been meted out to journalists and activists in the recent years for criticizing government policies and decisions.
