Two women held for drunken driving by Dispur Police

GUWAHATI: In another incident of drunken driving, two young women were held by Dispur Police on Saturday night. They were taken under police custody after the traffic police in Dispur caught them for driving under the influence of alcohol. They were driving a car bearing registration number AR 01 N 1101.

The two women allegedly created a ruckus in Dispur Police Station after they were brought there. They allegedly misbehaved with the officials and the media persons present at the police station. They were taken to Panbazar Women Police Station after a health check-up at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) was done.
