United Bank of India Walkathon For Vigilance Awareness Week in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: United Bank of India, Guwahati Regional Office on the eve of “Vigilance Awareness Week,2019” on Friday organised a “Walkathon” to spread awareness among the public against corruption with the theme of “Integrity-a way of life”. The main objective of this walkathon was to spread the message of Integrity which is the main mantra to build a better world through eradication of corruption from each and every corner of our world. The walkathon started from the LGBI Regional office situated at Panbazar via Cotton University to Reserve Bank of India, Guwahati. The Deputy General Manager & Chief Regional Manager Prabir Kumar Tah along with all the officials of UBI Guwahati RO and Guwahati Based branches participated whole heartedly in this walkathon. It’s worth to mention here that in the Vigilance Awareness Week ,2019 starting from 28th to 2nd October,2019,United Bank of India has organised Awareness Gram Sabhas in many Gram Panchayats throughout the region to spread awareness against corruption among public to build a new corruption free India, stated a press release.
