Unlock 1.0 announced by Assam Chief Secretary Kumar Sanjay Krishna is under criticism

GUWAHATI: The unlock 1.0 announced by State Chief Secretary Kumar Sanjay Krishna has come under severe criticism from the All India Professionals' Congress, Assam Chapter. Gauravv Somani, State president of AIPC and State Congress spokesperson said in a statement that the present Unlock 1 notification is nothing less than another week additional lockdown, creating unnecessary confusions. Somani said that the government has issued instructions for all shopkeepers, employees, and others should get themselves tested for COVID-19 and must carry test results at all times, without which they cannot open their shops. He said that even if the shopkeepers and employees go for COVID test, it will take 7 to 10 days time to get the test report, and in that case subsequently they are not in the position to open the shops and offices till COVID test reports are known, he said.
