Vigilance Awareness Week: Northeast Frontier Railway Takes Integrity Pledge

GUWAHATI: The observance of “Vigilance Awareness Week-2019” started on Monday in NFR with various day-long programmes. The theme of this year’s programme is “Integrity – a way of life”.

As part of the programme, “Integrity Pledge” was taken by officers and staff of HQ at Maligaon. The pledge was administered by Boniface Lakra, Chief Vigilance Officer of NF Railway. A sangosthi (discussion) on the topic “Integrity – a way of life” was also held which was participated by Sanjive Roy, GM/NFR, Nilesh Kishore Prasad, GM/CON/NFR, Boniface Lakra, CVO/NFR apart from other senior officials who were present. A vigilance bulletin was also released on the occasion. Later a video conference with senior officials from all the five divisions of NFR was also held where various issues were discussed upon for promoting more transparent ways in administrative working, stated a press release.
