West Guwahati Police District seized 87 vials of heroin, one arrested

In an operation conducted by a team of the Crime Branch along with a team of the West Guwahati Police District (WGPD) from Bharalumukh Police Station, 87 vials of suspected heroin weighing 97.8 gm were recovered.

GUWAHATI: In an operation conducted by a team of the Crime Branch along with a team of the West Guwahati Police District (WGPD) from Bharalumukh Police Station, 87 vials of suspected heroin weighing 97.8 gm were recovered. In this connection, Babul Dutta (28) of Birubari was arrested by the team at Santipur. The team also seized one mobile phone from his possession.
