The seat allotment results for CSAB special round 1 has been declared by the Board on Thursday 2 December making the outcomes available on its official website csab.nic.in.

The seat allotments by Central Seat Allocation Board are distributed for the GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes), NITs (National Institutes of Technology) and IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology).

To check the results from the website the candidates must know their application number along with password otherwise they will be unable to login to the results page. PwD candidates or Person with disability this year will be given an opportunity for a longer time duration with selection choice of institutes whichever they choose to report their PwD status.

The Special rounds of CSAB are only for those students who failed to register in the portal of Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) and those who had registered successfully but unfortunately, were deprived of getting a seat.

The special round of seat allotment is also for the candidates who did not make the payment for seat acceptance or their seat allotted earlier in IIT or opted for the exit option.

Steps to Check CSAB Special Round 1 Seat Allotment Results:

• The candidates need to visit the official website of the Central Seat Allocation Board which is csab.nic.in. to check the special round seat allotment results.

• On the Homepage that appears on the screen select the link given as 'CSAB Special Round Allotment list 1'

• A new page will be visible which will ask application number and password, provide the details asked.

• After entering the required credentials the seat allotment list will appear on your screen.

• Download the entire list for easy access during an emergency.

• Also, take a printout to carry a hard copy when required.
