Alia Bhatt Lookalike Celesti Bairagey From Assam Bags Her First TV Show

New Delhi: A few months back, a lookalike of Alia Bhatt surfaced, whose name is Celesti Bairagey. Celesti is very active on social media and she often makes reels on Alia's songs. With this, now, she has become a social media star and she also got an opportunity to play a lead role in a new show named 'Udti Ka Naam Rajjo'.

Since she looks similar to Alia Bhatt, a video of her was widely shared on social media which gave her a lot of fame. Celesti is now going to do her first television show 'Udti Ka Naam Rajjo'. She will be seen in the role of an athlete Rajjo in the show.

This will be Celesti's first Hindi project in Indian Television and she has also worked in some Assamese music videos and movies such as 'Tumi Junak' and 'Niveer Aru Tara'.

Udti Ka Naam Rajjo' revolves around the titular character 'Rajjo' played by Celesti, a naturally gifted athlete in her teens who is fighting to survive in the harsh reality of a small village that is disconnected from society.

Meanwhile, the male lead role in the show will be played by Rajveer Singh.

The show has been produced by Mukta Dhond lead of Bits and Bots Media.

The promo of the show was released on Saturday (July 16) and the show will be aired on the Star Plus channel as well as on the OTT platform Hotstar from August 8.
