Shah Rukh Khan Announces Pathaan Release Date, Unveils Teaser

MUMBAI: Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan has finally announced the theatre release date of his upcoming action film 'Pathaan' produced under Yash Raj Films. SRK will be back into action after four long years of his acting gap in movies.

On Wednesday 2nd March the actor took to Twitter to make the major announcement regarding the film release date and provide other related information.

In his tweet, King Khan wrote a caption that reads 'I know it's late, but remember the date, Pathaan time starts now.' The film will be directed by Siddarth Anand and is expected to provide the best action scenes.

The actor also shared a teaser video of the film which gives a glimpse of his look in 'Pathaan' and features actor John Abharam and actress Deepika Padukone.

After much anticipation, it is now known that the film is scheduled to release on big screens on 25 January next year i.e. at the national festival of Republic Day 2023.

It will be available to watch in different languages including Hindi, Telugu and Tamil as informed by Shah Rukh Kahn through his tweet.

In the teaser video, Deepika Padukone and John Abharam were seen introducing the character of SRK in the film who is a man on a mission.

According to the teaser video, the film is about patriotism as the introduction of SRK's character says that his country is his only religion and his duty is to protect it.

In his recent work front, Shah Rukh Khan's production Love Hostel received stellar reviews after its release on 25 February on the online streaming platform of Zee5 Original.

According to sources, the budget action spectacle Pathaan is approximately Rupees 250 Crores which suggests that the film will be made on a huge scale.

Actress Deepika Padukone will be playing the heroine in the film opposite Shah Rukh Khan and actress Dimple Kapadia will appear as a RAW Chief.

Is Shah Rukh Khan making any new movies?

The actor has been fairly active as a producer in the last few years and has recently co-produced 'Darlings' along with Alia Bhatt.

His new movies include Bharmastra starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect starring R Madhavan, Sanki and Rajkumar Hirani film starring Tapsee Pannu.
