NEW DELHI: Devoleena Bhattacharjee, a well-known TV personality, shocked her followers on Wednesday by posting pictures of herself on social media looking like a bride. The actor flaunted her mehndi and shared a number of images from events that appeared to be a wedding and haldi. Fans were further confused when her pal Vishal Singh and co-star Bhavini Purohit uploaded images from the celebrations.
On Wednesday, Devoleena shared a series of images of Vishal putting haldi to her face on her Instagram Stories. In one image, she was seated in a car wearing a face mask while dressed in a crimson bridal lehenga. In a Boomerang video, she displayed her kaleere (hand ornaments). She then posted a selfie wearing a mangalsutra and a few images of her mehndi.
Many followers questioned whether Vishal and Devoleena were wed. When a wedding blog posted some of the images with the remark, "Here are some heart-melting highlights from beautiful couple @devoleena @vishal.singh786 wedding," the confusion was exacerbated. Others, however, suspected that Vishal was not the genuine groom because they saw him in the background dressed differently. One wrote, "The groom is not Vishal." You are not the groom, someone else said in response to a photo Vishal shared. At least be clear.
Devoleena's supporters even believed that the wedding was only a prop for a TV show or commercial and that she wasn't actually getting married. One comment stated, "This is for a new music video or possibly a serial." According to some sources, Vishal, Bhavini, and a few other pals were present at Devoleena's court wedding on Tuesday. But the identity of the groom is not mentioned. These rumors haven't been verified yet. Devoleena reshared a handful of Vishal, Bhavini, and Rashmi Singh's pictures from the celebrations, but none of the posts had titles or descriptions, further perplexing the admirers.
