Harshad Mehta's 'Scam 1992' becomes the number 1 show on IMDb

Harshad Mehta's 'Scam 1992', which narrates the rags to riches story of Harshad Mehta has caught people's fancy, has beaten shows like Breaking Bad and Chernobyl on IMDb.

People are going gaga over the show ever since its release. The story follows the story of a stockbroker who took the stock market to new heights before he witnessed a steep downfall. The infamous scam was called 'security scam' which was worth ₹3,500 crores. 

Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story has reportedly grabbed number one spot on IMDb's Top Rated TV Shows a list with a 9.6/10 rating.

The web-show has surpassed the ratings of top shows such as Breaking Bad, which has 9.5 ratings, Chernobyl which has 9.4 ratings, and Game of Thrones, which has 9.2 ratings.

The rating for Scam 199 is based only on approx. 20,000 votes. The rating is likely to drop, as more votes will be added. On the other hand, the rating of shows like Chernobyl and Game Of Thrones is based on more than 10,00,000 views.
