BTS, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo Among Others To Perform At Grammy Awards 2022

The Grammy Awards this year will show the performances of the world-famous pop artist that includes the South Korean boy band BTS, American singers Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo.

The 64th Annual Grammy Award is scheduled to take place on 3 April 2022 in Las Vegas city in Nevada of United States. The show will be hosted by South African comedian Trevor Noah for the second time.

The award night will be premiered live from MGM Grand Garden Arena on American broadcasting channels CBS and Paramount plus.

The first slate of performers in the award ceremony was announced by the Recording Academy on Tuesday 15 March.

The initial slate consists of performances by the music stars Bothers Osborne, Jack Harlow, Brandi Carlile and Lil Nax X. These nominees of Grammy will be taking the stage of the biggest music night much awaited by artists and music fans.

With this announcement by the Recording Academy fans across the world couldn't keep calm and started sharing their excitement over the award show on the social media platform.

The award show was earlier scheduled for January 2022 in Los Angeles but has been moved to Las Vegas because of the spreading COVID-19 pandemic and the new covid variant that emerged during that time.

The organizers of the award ceremony shifted it citing high risks to host the performance-filled show in the month of January which showed a rise in the spread of the covid infection.

American multitalented Jon Batiste is the foremost nominee with eleven nods in different genres that includes jazz music, music video, R and B, classical music and American roots music.

On the other hand Canadian singer Justin Bieber, American rapper Doja Cat and singer H.E.R are tied for the 2nd most nominations with 8 each.

BTS band is nominated for best pop duo group performances and Osborne is nominated for the best country album and best country duo group performance.

Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo have the most among all artists for the 2022 award that includes a record of the year, song of the year and album of the year.
