Indian Idol 12 Winner: Pawandeep Rajan Takes Trophy, Arunita 1st Runner-Up

NEW DELHI: Indian Idol 12 finally has its winner know and it is none other than Pawandeep Rajan.

Meanwhile, Arunita Kanjilal bagged the first runner-up in the show. Pawandeep, who is from Uttrakhand, is also a percussionist. During the Indian Idol 12 grand final last night he played guitar and crooned the song 'Kaafirana' from the film 'Kedarnath'.

After he performed on "Hawaein', ' Nadan Parindey' and Sadda Haq ' which kept his fans lovestruck.

On the other hand, Arunita crooned to the songs 'Deewani Mastani', ' O Mere Priya, ' Ghar More Pardesia'.

The other winners of the show are Sayali Kamble (third), Md. Danish, Nihal Tauro and Shanamukhapriya. It is to be mentioned here that after long 8 months the season 12 of Indian Idol- The Music Reality Show concluded.

Pawandeep has been in the buzz for his soulful performances throughout the season and for his friendship with Arunita. From Pawandeep Rajan's sweet gesture towards Arunita to them hanging out together, the fans loved them together.

The 12-hour-long episode of the grand finale was an entertaining one with several performances by the finalists, evicted contestants of the season, judges, and special performances.

Some of the highlights of the finale were Annu Kapoor back as the host of 'Antakshari', Alka Yagnik's soulful tribute to legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, Kumar Sanu's solo performance, Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan's blissful duet, Sukhwinder Singh's energetic performance, Mika Singh's power-packed performance, Sadhna Sargam Aka 'Suro Ki Singham' Performs On 'Pehla Nasha' Along With Aashish Kulkarni, among many more.
