MUMBAI: With its upbeat dance moves, the Tamil song "Naatu Naatu" from the smash hit movie "RRR" by SS Rajamouli is one of the most well-known songs both domestically and internationally. It was composed by M. M. Keeravani and recorded by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava.
From the Golden Globes to the Oscars, "Naatu Naatu" has been on a winning streak, making India proud on every important international stage.

On March 12, 2023, the song won the Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars, for best original song.
On January 15, 2023, "Naatu Naatu" won the Critics' Choice Awards for Best Song.
On January 13, the song was named runner-up by the Georgia Film Critics Association.
"Naatu Naatu" also won India's first Golden Globe for the best original song on January 10, 2023.
On February 24, 2023, the song won the Hollywood Critics Association's Best Original Song award.
On February 18, 2023, the Houston Film Critics Society gave the song the Best Original Song honour.
On January 23, 2023, the song was able to win the Original song award from the Online Film Critics Society.
Jungkook, a member of the well-known South Korean band BTS, was also spotted listening to the song "Naatu Naatu" during a live performance. The official Instagram account of "RRR" posted the Jungkook video. The message said, "JUNGKOOK. It's incredible to learn how much you adored #NaatuNaatu. We are sending you, the #BTS team, and the nation of South Korea a tonne of love. #RRRMovie."
Members of the South Korean embassy in Delhi were observed partaking in the craze of making "Naatu Naatu" dancing videos. In a video posted on the Korean embassy's Twitter account, Korean Ambassador Chang Jae-bok and Korean staff members were seen dancing to the popular song.
