THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: On February 24, a young Malayalam filmmaker named Joseph Manu James passed away from hepatitis. He breathed his last at 31 years.
According to reports, Joseph Manu James died while receiving treatment for hepatitis (liver inflammation) at Rajagiri Hospital in Kochi. Manu James passed away just a few days before his first movie, Nancy Rani, was released, shocking fans.
Aju Varghese, a coworker of Manu's at Nancy Rani, expressed his sincere sympathies and wrote, "Too soon, my brother."
Ahaana Krishna, who played the lead in Manu James' debut movie, also reacted to the information, "Manu, rest in peace! You shouldn't have experienced this," in her Instagram Stories, she posted.
Nancy Rani was directed by Joseph Manu James and starred Ahana Krishnakumar, Arjun Ashokan, Aju Varghese, Sunny Wayne, Lene, and Lal, among other actors. The sudden passing occurs just as the film is about to hit theatres.
Mirzapur fame and one of the finest actors in Bollywood, Shahnawaz Pradhan took his last breathe on 17th February, Friday. As per the reports, the actor suffered a heart attack while attending an award function in Mumbai.
Shahnawaz was popularly know for his art in Phantom, Raaes, Mirzapur, Tota Weds Maina. The 56 year old complained about a chronic chest pain during the event, and minutes late he fell on the ground in an unconscious state.
The actor was immediately rushed to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital, but unfortunately he couldn’t be saved. TV Surbhi Tiwari was also present in the hospital when Shahnawaz was admitted. The actress informed media that, she hear the medical staff utter about absence of pulse in Shahnawaz body.
The actress further mentioned that, Shahnawaz also underwent a bypass surgery few months ago. Rajesh Tailang, who has worked with Shahnawaz in Mirzapur, mourned his loss with an emotional note. Yashpal Sharma who was seen in the film Lagaan, was also present at the award ceremony.
