LOS ANGELES: The surreal sci-fi movie "Everything, Everywhere, At Once" won seven golden statuettes at the Oscars on Sunday, including best picture, which is the most coveted award in Hollywood.

The unconventional but well-liked film, which includes sex toys, hot dog fingers, and numerous universes, also took home awards for best director, best actress, best original screenplay, best editing, and both the best supporting actor and actress categories.

With her depiction of a worn-out Chinese laundromat owner engaged in combat with an interdimensional supervillain—who also happens to be her daughter—Michelle Yeoh, a Malaysian, becomes the first female Asian woman to win best actress.

The best documentary award went to "Navalny," which is about the jailed Russian dissident Alexei Navalny.
