Sanak Movie Review: Predictable Action-Thriller Movie Casting Vidyut Jammwal

The movie Sanak directed by Kanishk Varma is an Action drama released on Disney Hostar on 15 October filled with thrill shows a story of a rescue operation from a hospital. The story shows a situation where the lead characters in the film Vidyut Jammwal staring as Vivaan Ahuja and his beloved wife Rukmini Maitra play the role as Anshika seem to be trapped inside a hospital in operation and is a siege.

In the movie director, Kanishk Varma represents a fight between two enemies as Vidyut Jammwal who is shown as a man who is physically fit with big muscles and the other one is Chandan Roy Sanyal who appears as the character of Saju. Saju as a terrorist has a large group of fighters that are well trained with skills and they have taken each and every person present in the hospital under their captivity. They had also set a bomb in the hospital because of which the people inside are much worried and frightened of their lives.

The story of Sanak is much predictable as usual the hero saves the people from the villains to protect them from danger. The movie holds 117 minutes to complete the story which begins with a scene where Vivaan and Anshika celebrated their third marriage anniversary and the initial part of the movie shows the love chemistry between the couple. But minutes after their celebration they are under siege and Anshika faces trouble getting in hostage. Though Vivaan comes to her rescue and also saves other people being a one-man Army.

One of the kids among those people defused the bomb but it seems to be a disappointment for audiences as the bomb squad fails to do the same. Viewers loved the action stunts performed by Vidyut in many sequences mainly inside the physiotherapy room and the credit for this goes to action director Andy Long Nguyen. Music in the movie fails to attract the attention of the audience as there are only two songs that could be hardly remembered.

Neha Dhupia in the movie is seen as a tough and strong police officer who makes her grant entry to save the people and tries for a solution to bring the situation under control. But the role of Neha Dhupia in the movie is very limited along with the role of Anshika. The villain as Chandan Roy Sanyalis best suited in the character of Saju with being heartless effortlessly.
