Sara Ali Khan in a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar India said that she once believed her father uses inappropriate language and her mother runs a porn site after watching her father Saif Ali Khan in Omkara and mother Amrita Singh in Kalyug.
When Sara was a kid she thought her parents are negative people as they acted in negative roles in their respective movies. She revealed her childhood thought after being asked "what is her earliest film-based memories when she was a little girl" by Digital Editor of Bazaar India Nandini Bhalla.
Her father Saif Ali Khan played the negative role of Ishwar 'Langda' Tyagi in his 2006 criminal drama "Omkara". The movie cast also includes Konkona Sen Sharma, Ajay Devgan, Vivek Oberoi, and Kareena Kapoor. Sara's mother Amrita acted in the action thriller movie Kalyug in the year 2005 which featured Kunal Kemmu in the lead role along with Ashutosh Rana, Smilie Suri, and Emraan Hashmi.
Sara in the interview mentioned that her childhood thought regarding her parents being the bad people was not enjoyable but disturbing to her. Though on the same year of their movies Saif and Amrita were nominated for best actor in negative roles. Sara added in her interview that during the past years life and circumstances around her have changed a lot, she has been mama's girl who will do five more pushups, read one more chapter of chemistry, or would ask for another script to read. Her parents Saif Ali Khan and Amrita got married in the year 1991 and had two children Sara and Ibrahim Khan but later in 2004 both of them got separated.
