Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan on Tuesday announced that he is stepping into the world of Over-The-Top (OTT) with his own platform, which will be branded as "SRK+".
King Khan, which he is often referred to as, took to his official Twitter handle to share a picture along with the supposed logo of his OTT platform.
"Kuch kuch hone wala hai, OTT ki duniya mein. SRK+," he tweeted.
Earlier, he had shared a promotional video of his OTT platform but the announcement had to be put on hold due to his son Aryan Khan's arrest in a drugs case.
His fans erupted in joy as soon as the announcement was made. His colleagues conveyed their best wishes for the Bollywood heartthrobs future endeavors.
Salman Khan congratulated his old friend and wrote, "Aaj ki party teri taraf se @iamsrk. Congrats on your new OTT app, SRK+".
Director Anurag Kashyap, who will be collaborating with Shah Rukh for the OTT, tweeted, "Dream come true! Collaborating with @iamsrk on his new OTT app, SRK+ ".
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh will feature in the movie 'Pathaan' which is slated to hit the screens by March next year. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham will be seen alongside him and the teaser of the movie was out recently.
The dashing actor last appeared in 'Zero' starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif and the film was released back in 2018.
