Mumbai: Shree Gulshan Kumar's Hanuman Chalisa has created history by becoming the first devotional song to cross the one billion mark. The devotional song has been uploaded on the T-series Bhakti channel on YouTube.

Gulshan Kumar's son Bhusan Kumar who is currently the Chairman and Managing Director of T-series expressed his happiness on the achievement and tweeted, "t's a moment of joy for our @TSeries family today as our Hanuman Chalisa video becomes the 1st devotional video to cross 1 Billion+ views on YouTube. Dad, may your blessings always be with us & help us in achieving many more such milestones."

The description of the devotional song on YouTube promises good health and more. It reads, "Those who Chant Hanuman Chalisa Regularly with full devotion will definitely have very good Health & Wealth. Chanting the Hanuman Chalisa will relieve any kind of illness or adversity and bring Prosperity in one's life."
