2 drug peddlers arrested with 14 vials of heroin in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A team from Panbazar police station, under Central Guwahati Police District, arrested 2 drug peddlers from near Rail Gate No. 2, Lakhtokia. The two arrested peddlers were identified as Ashma Khatun and Prakash Karmakar. They were nabbed by the police team along with14 vials of heroin they were carrying at the time.

The drugs in the containers weighed 18.88 gms, said police sources. A case was filed against them and legal action initiated by Panbazar Police.
