75.84% voter turnout registered in Kamrup (M)

GUWAHATI: The third and final phase of the polls in four constituencies of Kamrup (Metro) witnessed a voter turnout of 75.84 per cent. Jalukbari registered the highest voter turnout in the district with 82.34 per cent polling. Out of a total of 2,04,415 voters in the district, 1,68,318 casted their ballot.

Dispur registered 74.35 per cent polling where 3,06,056 people exercised their franchise out of a total of 4,11,636 voters.

Guwahati East registered the least voter turnout with 71.14 per cent polling. Total voters in the constituency were 2,39,508 out of which 1,70,389 voted.

Guwahati West registered 77.23 per cent polling where 2,29,323 voted out of a total of 2,96,928 voters. It is to be mentioned that, out of 44 voters from the third gender, six casted their ballot in the polls.
