Advocates' meet held on the occasion of Constitution Day in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The Adhibakta Mandali, Assam held a congregation of advocates here today on the occasion of Constitution Day. One hundred and fifty-five advocates from the Gauhati High Court and other courts of the state were present at the congregation.

Panchayat and Rural Development (P&RD) Minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass delivered the inaugural speech. The occasion had two business sessions - one addressed by Assam Advocate General Debajit Saikia on 'Role of Advocates in Justice Delivery System & Nation Building' and the other by Bijon Kumar Mahajan on 'Judicial Activism, Accountability & Role of Advocates'...
