AIBOC State unit elects new president, secretary

GUWAHATI: The Assam State Unit of All India Bank Officers' Confederation (AIBOC) elected a new president and secretary at its 6th Triennial Conference at the premises of the State Bank of India (SBI) Officers' Association in Bhangagarh here recently, stated a press release.

While Alokesh Bhattacharjee of the Punjab National Bank (PNB) was unanimously elected as president of the State unit of AIBOC, Sanjib Sen of the SBI was elected as secretary.

The conference was held belatedly due to various factors, including the COVID-19 pandemic. The conference was presided over by outgoing president Taher Ahmed in the presence of DGS of the National unit, Biswajit Khound, and senior vice-president of the National Unit Rupam Roy.
