GUWAHATI: The Airports Authority of India in the North Easter Region has recently noticed various fake advertisements promising jobs to aspirants in its name. Desperate candidates are reaching out to AAI with complaints ranging from fake vacancy advertisements to fraudulent appointment letters for which they have paid money. It has been noticed that fraudulent recruitment advertisements and job offers are being made by some unscrupulous elements forging Airports Authority of India’s name/logo and trying to deceive general public and job aspirants by making false promises of securing jobs in AAI.

Regional Executive Director, AAI-NER, Sanjeev Jindal, said, “We have been receiving complaints from various stations and we advise all the individuals concerned to file official complaint with local police stations. On our official website https://www.aai.aero AAI, we have also published a notice for caution regarding fraudulent recruitment on the homepage to inform all job aspirants to exercise caution and not to be misled by false advertisements in name of AAI. Application fee is only payable at the time of online registration and no other payments are sought at any stages of recruitment.”
