All Assam Students' Union (AASU) to pay homage to Indian playback singer from Assam Late Dr Bhupen Hazarika

GUWAHATI: The AASU (All Assam Students' Union) will pay homage to Dr Bhupen Hazarika centrally at Dighalupukhuripar on November 5, his death anniversary. All AASU units will pay homage to the balladeer in various areas of the state.

The tribute-paying ceremony will start at 10.30 am at the statue of Dr Hazarika at Dighalipukhuriar. The students' body will light 10,000 flames at 5 pm.
