All Assam Students' Union to stage statewide protest on November 7

GUWAHATI: The All Assam Students' Union (AASU) will stage a statewide protest against the price hike on November 7. All regional units of the AASU will take part in the demonstration. The AASU workers across the State will place food materials in front of them and beat utensils to demonstrate.

In this regard, AASU president Dipanko Kumar Nath and general secretary LurinjyotiGogoi said the Assam government has completely failed to control the soaring prices. They alleged that the Assam government has surrendered in front of the unscrupulous traders.

The AASU stated that it will continue protests until the government takes immediate initiative to control the surging prices.
