All Guwahati Cab Drivers’ Union Opposes Motor Vehicle Act

GUWAHATI: The All Guwahati Cab Drivers’ Union protested in front of the DTO office on Tuesday in condemnation of the Motor Vehicle (Amendment) Act, 2019. They also submitted a memorandum to the transport commissioner and warned the government that the Act which in their terms is ‘a ploy to incur revenue by the government exchequer’ should be immediately scrapped.
