GUWAHATI: The members of the Assam State Anganwadi Workers’ and Helpers’ Association, Kamrup Metropolitan District Committee, submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister of Assam through the district social welfare officer, mentioning several demands. They also highlighted the key problems that they are facing while discharging their duties in the field.
The key demands of the Assam State Anganwadi Workers’ and Helpers’ Association, Kamrup Metropolitan District, include the supply of registers and MPR to the centres, giving better phones to implement the Poshan Tracker, making arrangements for summer leaves for the Anganwadi workers, helpers, and mini workers, providing TA/DA for attending the ICDS-related meetings that are held every month, creating all necessary infrastructure at the Anganwadi centres, giving almirahs at the centres to store the necessary documents, and giving Rs 10000 monthly till the salaries are regularised.
