Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Stages Protest Against Fuel Price Hike

GUWAHATI: Protest Against Fuel Price Hike: The APCC (Assam Pradesh Congress Committee) joined the Congress' nationwide protest by staging protests across the State on Friday against the surging prices of petrol and diesel. The APCC workers demonstrated in every district and constituency showing their outrage against the price hike situation. In Guwahati, the APCC workers demonstrated in front of different petrol pumps by following the COVID protocols.

"The government has failed to control the prices of petrol and diesel. The fuel prices are about to reach the Rs 100 mark. The surging prices of fuel have led to an increase in prices of essential commodities," said an APCC leader. The party appealed to the government to provide relief to the people at the earliest.
