Assam Book Fair: Interaction with writers held in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: 'Antaranga Aalap', a brief discussion with eminent writers on current trends and various issues concerning writers, was organized by Janasanyog, Assam at the Assam Book Fair on Tuesday, stated a press release.

The inaugural session featured Sahitya Academy Award winner Apurba Kumar Saikia, Executive Editor of Satsori Atanu Bhattacharya, Monika Devi, Archana Borthakur and Manoranjan Bori.

The programme was moderated by Sikha Saikia, Senior Information Officer of DIPR, Assam. This programme will be held afternoon till January 9. Other notable writers, including Rita Chowdhury and Anuradha Sarma Pujari, will also be a part of this programme.

The programme will be streamed live through the DIPR's Facebook page.
