Assam CM felicitates newly appointed BJP National Gen Secy Dilip Saikia

Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal felicitated Mangaldoi MP Dilip Saikia on being appointed as BJP's National General Secretary on Wednesday in Guwahati.

Sonowal took to his Twitter to share pictures from the day with Saikia and asserted that, ''I am certain that his dedicated spirit to serve the people will further strengthen our organizational base. My best wishes for his new journey.''

On September 26, BJP National President JP Nadda inducted Saikia to the team. The Lok Sabha MP was named as the National General Secretary of the party in a recent reshuffle announced by Nadda.
