Assam DGP GP Singh launches social media accounts of Special Task Force and VDO

 GUWAHATI: Assam DGP GP Singh launched the Facebook and Twitter accounts of the Special Task Force (STF), Assam, and Village Defence Organization (VDO) during the performance review meeting at Silchar on Monday.

The social media accounts of STF and the voluntary Organization, VDO, associated with Assam Police aim to get connected with the general public. STF has opened a mobile number 60269-01358 for the public for the dissemination of information in writing pertaining to illegal drugs. The identity of the informant will be kept strictly confidential. The DGP of Assam, who is on a three-day tour to Barak Valley along with the DY.I.G (Admin) and CCVDO, urges all to utilize the services of these social media platforms and the mobile number of STF., stated a press release.
