Assam DGP GP Singh ordered the DIG (NER) for a proper investigation into the alleged ‘missing’ case of Pranjal Moran, and asked to take proper action against the perpetrator within 7 days.

GUWAHATI: Assam DGP GP Singh on Friday ordered the DIG (NER) for a proper investigation into the alleged ‘missing’ case of Pranjal Moran, and asked to take proper action against the perpetrator within 7 days. The DGP issued the dictate after Pranjal Moran’s wife visited him at his office to complain against her husband’s mysterious disappearance and request the Assam Police to recover her missing husband.

The DGP has dispatched a letter to SDRF, NDRF and Coal India Limited to begin a search operation and locate the man at an earliest time. During her visit to the DGP, Urbashi Moran, Pranjal Moran’s wife submitted a written application requesting appointment on the ground of compassion.
