Assam government seeks data on vacant posts in colleges

Assam’s Director of Higher Education has asked all provincialised/Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Adarsha Mahavidyalaya/Government Model Colleges to inform his office about vacant posts of teaching and non-teaching staff in their respective institutions up to March, 2022.

GUWAHATI: Assam's Director of Higher Education has asked all provincialised/Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Adarsha Mahavidyalaya/Government Model Colleges to inform his office about vacant posts of teaching and non-teaching staff in their respective institutions up to March, 2022.

It may be mentioned that 743 posts of Assistant Professors are lying vacant in 153 colleges of the State. There are also 233 posts of Grade-III and 524 posts of Grade-IV non-teaching staff lying vacant in these colleges.
