Assam Government to hold Chintan Shivir from September 24 to 26 at Kaziranga

GUWAHATI: For the first time in Assam, a brainstorming session between ministers and bureaucrats willl be held. This brainstorming session, titled as Chintan Shivir, will be held from September 24 to September 26 at Kaziranga. A brainchild of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Chintan Shibir will be organized by the General Administration Department (GAD) and Tourism Department on behalf of the State Government.

Besides the Chief Minister, all ministers and seniormost Secretaries of various departments will attend the three-day Chintan Shivir during which they will discuss the ongoing activities of the departments and the plans for the next five years. A roadmap of the departments for the next five years is likely to be prepared during the session.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar of the Art of Living and Sadhguru have been invited to take part in the Chintan Shivir, as well as Chief Secretaries of different states.
