Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi flags off national integration tour at Raj Bhawan

GUWAHATI: In a move to develop a pan-Indian vision and attitude in the students, Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi flagged off a national integration tour from the Northeast to Pune and Naval Dockyard Mumbai at Raj Bhawan here on Wednesday.

Organized by the Moreh Battalion of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (South), the national integration camp is aimed at helping the students know different states of India and develop a pan-India attitude. A total of 24 students (boys) with two teachers are part of the tour. The tour is being carried out from 14 January to 26 January 2020, a press release said.
