Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) reschedules HS First Year exam

GUWAHATI: Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) announced the resumption of the suspended Higher Secondary First Year (HS First Year) examinations-2022.

The AHSEC has rescheduled the examinations scheduled from May 18-21. According to a notification issued by the Controller of Examinations, AHSEC, examinations earlier scheduled for May 18 will be on June 6, examinations earlier scheduled for May 20 will be on June 7, and examinations earlier scheduled for May 21 will be on June 8.

As per the new schedule, the Environmental Education paper will be in the morning shift, and MIL/Alternative English will be in the afternoon shift on June 6. Swadesh Adhyayan/Salesmanship & Advertising paper will be in the morning shift, and Biology/Education/Business Studies papers will be in the afternoon shift on June 7. Computer Science & Application paper will be in the morning shift, and Statistics/Advance Sanskrit papers will be in the afternoon shift on June 8. AHSEC had to suspend the HS First Year examinations on May 17 due to floods. In the case of the Dima Hasao district, the AHSEC did suspend all examinations scheduled from May 18 to June 1 till further order.
