Assam Jawan Md Ikram Hussain dies of COVID-19 in Delhi

GUWAHATI: A CRPF Head Constable from Assam Md Ikram Hussain (55 years) from Sarupeta in Barpeta district, died due to COVID-19 at Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi on Tuesday night. He was admitted to the hospital on the night of April 21. His last rites were performed in Delhi. The Chief Minister has expressed his condolences to members of the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul. Meanwhile, Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had a telephonic talk with the family members of the jawan at Sarupathar. BJP State president Ranjeet Kumar Dass met the bereaved family members in Sarupathar on Wednesday.
