GUWAHATI: Amidst the Silpi Divas Observation across the state, the Assam State NSUI also observed the occasion and organized an anti- CAA discussion in front of the Nehru Park, Panbazaar on Friday.

The programme started with paying tribute to Rupkonwar and the five martyred during anti-CAA agitation. The leaders and members of NSUI including students took part in the programme and shared their thoughts on CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) and the current scenario prevailing in the country through the medium of poetry, song and poster.

The body further said that it is strongly against the GST imposed on the celebration of the national festival.
