Assam Police collected Rs 35 lakh fine in 15 days

GUWAHATI: Guwahati Police tweeted on Sunday that in the last 15 days, Assam Police had collected Rs 35 lakh as fine for traffic rule and COVID guideline violations. In all, 4,500 non-FIR cases were detected and 110 vehicles were seized. Guwahati Police have appealed to people to obey traffic rules and follow COVID guidelines.

Last year, Assam Police had collected Rs 7,44,38,100 as fine for violation of COVID guidelines and norms.
