Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) files an FIR against Badruddin Ajmal

GUWAHATI: The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) filed an FIR against Badruddin Ajmal, the chief of the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF), after the latter allegedly made derogatory comments. Ajmal had made such comments against all the 11 parties in Assam that came together and held a meeting, allegedly calling all of them eunuchs.

According to the FIR, MP Badruddin Ajmal has made a derogatory statement in public, “Thakur ne hizron Ka Dal Banaya Hai,” which has surpassed all the limits and is usually indecent and insulting to the Congress party. Badruddin Ajmal has made unparliamentary statements against Bhupen Kumar Borah, president of the APCC, and against ten other political parties, the FIR said.

The FIR further said that Badruddin Ajmal made very disrespectful and indecent comments against the women’s community of Assam and the Chief Minister of Assam.

The statements that Ajmal has made have been published in the media.
