Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Rally For Gandhi Jayanti

GUWAHATI: Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi with a rally from Rajiv Bhawan to Kasturba Gandhi mandap here in the city on Wednesday.

The event was conducted under the supervision of APCC president Ripun Bora while ex Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi flagged off the rally. “There will always be a need for the philosophies of the Mahatma in our country. The contribution of Gnadhi towards Assam will be etched in golden letters,” said Gogoi. inaugurated the Clean, Green and Fit Village campaign initiated by MyGov Assam in association with ONGC and Assam Volleyball at Guwahati Volleyball Training Centre at Judges’ Field in the city on Tuesday.
