Assam: Robbers Dressed in Police Uniform Loot House in Guwahati

A six-member gang robbed the residence of a lady in Hafij Nagar Guwahati's Ulubari area today. Thieves gang disguised up as cops and carried out the robbery.

GUWAHATI: A six-member gang robbed the residence of a lady known as Moti Kumari in Hafij Nagar Guwahati's Ulubari area today.

A dramatic heist in which the six-member thieves gang disguised up as cops carried out the robbery.

The burglars grabbed a number of valuable items, including cell phones.

The whole incident was captured on the house's CCTV camera.

Residents of the Hafij Nagar area claim that a gang of thieves has been terrorising residents of the area for quite some time.

Earlier this month, police reported many robbery cases including a lady for allegedly stealing a large sum of money from an ATM machine, another where thieves broke into the house of one Gopal Rai and At Guwahati's Meghdoot Bhawan, burglars made off with roughly Rs 3 lakh in cash.
