Assam Startup Completes a Year

GUWAHATI: Assam Startup celebrated its first Anniversary, delighting over a year of relentless efforts to create a fertile ground for the development of a nourishing startup ecosystem in Assam. Since its inauguration on January 20, 2019 by the Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, The Nest has been engaged in making untiring efforts to groom the fledgling startups to develop into profitable, sustainable and scalable ventures.

The celebrations began with a cake-cutting ceremony in the presence of top investors, incubated startups and the team from IIM Calcutta Innovation Park managing operations at The Nest.

Taking it as an opportunity to bring home major investment opportunities for the incubated startups, top notch investors from across the country were invited to the Nest to take a look at the startups and evaluate them for investment. Based on the presentations, the investors will decide further discourse with the startups.
