Assam tableau tops at Republic Day Parade 2020 in New Delhi

GUWAHATI: Assam tableau received the first position at the Republic Day Parade 2020 at the national capital on Sunday. The tableau portrayed the theme “Bhortal Nritya”, a Sattriya art form and and Cane and Bamboo handicraft. In this regard, cultural Affairs Minister Naba Kumar Doley said “It is a proud moment for Assam. I express my gratitude towards everyone who was associated with the tableau.”
